This Saturday we hosted our fourth Hideout Rideout! We had amazing weather and enjoyed the day greatly!

This time, we met our fellow riders at The Heath Cafe, Royston from 10am. Those that wanted breakfast ordered, and we all chatted away for a good hour. It was really lovely to see some friendly faces and new members, but also some returnees from our previous Hideout rides! Clearly they had enjoyed themselves previously.

After a quick briefing, where we clarified how the marking system works and the ride rules, we took off for Hideout at 11am. We used a new route this time but still used some brilliant roads like the B1038 from Hertfordshire into Essex. The sun shined during the whole ride, it was great!

We were welcomed to Hideout with some lovely tea, coffee and cake. Kate gave us a brilliant tour around the workshop, answered everyone’s questions and even showed off her sewing machine skills when repairing a customers leather jacket! Phil joined us for a long route back home which we also enjoyed. If you don’t know Phil Jones, have a look at his website, most the photos in this post are his.

Overall, a great day!
